About the Department

The Department of Shiksha Shastra (Education) was established in the year 2006. At present, the department offers two programmes: Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) and Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.). The department is committed to providing proper opportunities for teacher education in coordination with qualitative Sanskrit education and Modern Subjects, with modern facilities in laboratories for curriculum studies, language, sociology, technology, psychology and research methodology. The department constantly strives to ensure that future Sanskrit teachers receive quality training enriched with updated knowledge, experience, skills, and a positive attitude.

For enhancing the professional competency of Shiksha Shastri and Vidyavaridhi students, the department prioritizes the creation of a strong learning environment not only through teaching but also through various other effective activities such as EPC, Skill Development and Academic Activities.
